Introduction

It has been compiled in compliance with Protection of Personal Information Act No 4 of 2013 (“POPI Act”) and it sets out what we process, the purpose it is processed for, our security measures, and your rights in respect of your Personal Information.

1.1. In terms of the Act, Data Subjects are natural and juristic persons.

2.1.3. correspondence sent by the person that is implicitly or explicitly of a private or confidential nature or further correspondence that would reveal the contents of the original correspondence.
2.1.4. the name of the person if it appears with other Personal Information relating to the person or if the disclosure of the name itself would reveal information about the person.
2.2. We do not collect all categories of Personal Information. We only collect the Personal Information we need for our specific business purposes.

We collect Personal Information directly from you and via our Website/s.
3.1. Suppliers: The Personal Information collected includes your bank account details, address, points of shipment, telephone number, email addresses and details of contact persons within your business.

3.2.1 Please note that failing to provide certain Personal Information may impact our ability to, amongst other things:

5.3. Mergers and acquisitions: Should Croco Toyota be reorganised or sold to another company or entity, your Personal Information may be provided to such company or entity.
5.4. Cross boarder transfer: We are a multinational organisation based in Zimbabwe with group entities located outside of Zimbabwe including, South Africa. Your Personal Information will only be transferred to recipients in another jurisdiction with data privacy laws that are no less stringent than those in Zimbabwe.

6.1.2. 11.1. You have the right to request the correction or deletion of your Personal Information if it is inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, out of date, incomplete, misleading, obtained unlawfully; or if we or any company in the Group is no longer authorised to retain such Personal Information having regard to the requirements of the Cyber and Data Protection Act.

13.1. You have the right to withdraw your consent in instances where Croco Toyota relies on consent as a justification to process your Personal Information and you have previously given such consent.
